Installation
NWFA-Compliant Installation
Riva Spain engineered hardwood floors follow NWFA (National Wood Flooring Association) installation guidelines. Proper acclimation is critical — open packaging approximately 48 hours prior to installation in the indoor environment where the floors will be installed.
- Maintain 60–80°F temperature and 30–55% relative humidity
- HVAC must be operational before and during installation
- Store bundles sealed in a cool, dry environment prior to acclimation
- All moisture-related work must be completed before installation
- Do not install any plank deemed unacceptable — contact your dealer
